Job Description

Job Objective

  • STL-HRMS will perform requirements gathering, gap analysis, design, configuration and implementation as well as provide support for the Oracle HRMS R12 application. The incumbent is expected to evaluate all the functional and technical issues and identify/implement effective solutions to those issues.

Key Responsibilities

Data Gathering and System Design

  • Work with other departments to gather business requirements for all functional areas and map those requirements as workflows (where applicable) or to other system changes. In addition, be able to configure and support custom Oracle workflows
  • Create & modify fast formulas
  • Design, build and attach reports as per identified business needs
  • Take a lead role in the rollout process of HRMS application across branch network ensuring the process is in sync with defined parameter of cost, schedule as well as quality
Training and Development
  • Plan and provide training and orientation to end users
  • Train junior team members in IT department for effective on-going application support
  • Travel to branches spread across country to provide support to end users
  • Participate & facilitate end users with testing of new functionalities as needed
Maintenance of System
  • Resolve routine system issues pertaining to processes and reports
  • Introduce and implement additional self-service interfaces for the facilitation of end users
  • Integrate different workflows to enable the flow of information among various custom and proprietary modules defined
  • Manage Service Requests on functional and technical issues with Oracle from initiation till closure
  • Manage code/objects in production by following a defined software change control process
  • Manage roles and responsibilities defined in the system to ensure all information security related concerns are addressed amicably
Refinement and Documentation
  • Suggest and perform (where applicable) system performance tuning to keep system running at optimal performance
  • Compile and maintain all relevant technical documentation
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other attributes
  • Minimum Bachelors in Information Technology or in Computer Science with emphasis on Software Engineering from a HEC recognized/overseas university.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of implementation or product support functional & technical experience with Oracle HRMS Applications.
  • Strong functional & technical experience with Oracle HRMS R12.
  • Overall understanding of Oracle E-Business architecture and ERP Software Fundamentals & Tools in general.
  • In depth knowledge of Oracle Workflow .
  • Capability to design & develop reports.
  • Exposure in Project Management.
  • Highly motivated with an interest in extremely complex problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
